What does it mean to be a Creative Leader?
It’s about having a vision that is based on listening first. A vision that is big enough to fit other point of views within it, empathetic enough to sense how others perceive it and humble enough to know when it needs to be adjusted.
It’s about truly believing in others and working with them in an empowering manner, inspiring them to constantly have higher standards. Nothing beats getting someone to truly believe in themselves and capabilities after seeing how much you already do.
It’s about adopting a sincere mindset of “we” versus “me”, not just for yourself but when practiced genuinely, others can’t help but flip that “m” upside down as well.
It’s about heartfelt empathetic communication, and building roads that are two way streets. It’s about embracing our full spectrum of emotions head-on and channeling them positively via embracing enthusiasm, confidence, inspiration, and excitement.
It’s about timing & sacrifice and making the time when there is none. It’s about understanding that mistakes often do happen and as much as it’s crucial to admit when we’re wrong, it’s as vital to realize that each mistake is an opportunity to improve, each failure is a step towards success.
